High Point Items.

Some of the farmers are about through harvesting.

Miss Effie DAVIS visited friends in Woodland Saturday night and Sunday.

There was an ice cream social given at the residence of Mrs. MCFARLAND last
Saturday night. A good time is reported by all.

Miss Nettie BARDWELL visited over Sunday with her parents.

Mr. and Mrs. George KING visited friends and relatives in this vicinity last
week.

Mrs. HITCHCOCK visited her son J. F. last Sunday.

Some one was in need of butter for they visited BARDWELL Friday night But
they were kind enough to leave enough for breakfast.

Miss Lillian and Jennie BRANT visited with the Misses CARTWRIGHT last
Saturday and Sunday.

Mrs. Charles COONTZ was seen on our streets last Sunday.

Some of the boys from Garden Grove attended the dance south of High Point
Saturday evening. They seemed to be enjoying themselves coming home by the way
they were yelling.

Mr. J. F. HITCHCOCK had business in Corydon and Allerton last week.
