High Point Items.

People are having their threshing done now.

Old grandfather DODD was visiting relatives in these parts last week.

There was a quilting bee at Mrs. John CLARK's last Tuesday.

Rev. KNOLL, pastor of the M. E. church, spent a part of last week visiting
the good people hereabouts.

Miss LAND's meeting at the Konklin school house is still in progress. WE
understand some good is being done.

Norman SMITH returned home Monday from Grand River, where he had been
visiting his uncle John WILLIAMS.

George MCDOWELL took in cattle at High Point Monday, and paid a fair price
for them.

Miss Vivian BEAVERS returned home Thursday from Vilisea where she has been
visiting her sister.

Mrs. BUFFUM of Garden Grove, visited with her son, J. E. MACY, last week.

Miss Nettie BARDWELL returned home from Mrs. MCPHERRIN's where she has been
working.

Two medicine men passed through here this week and one last week.

Misses Mary and Delilah KONKLIN of Garden Grove, spent Sunday night with
their cousin, Miss Nellie.

Mrs. Rhoda BROADESS, nee MOREHEAD, and old time resident of this
neighborhood, but now of Mills City, Montana, has been visiting for the past few days in
these parts among her many friends and relatives.

Frank SMITH sports a new buggy.
