YOUNG FAMILY REUNION

Relatives of the late W. H. YOUNG gathered at the old home place north of Grand River for a picnic Aug. 28 [1977]. Those present were Cleta KNOOR, Mesa, Ariz.; Doris HEWLETT, Ruth YOUNG, Mr. and Mrs. Don HEWLETT and two children, all of Grand River; Mr. and Mrs. Chet YOUNG, Chariton; Mr. and Mrs. Percy GILREATH, Mr. and Mrs. Barton GILREATH, Bedford; Vesta CREES, Garden Grove; Polly DAVIDSON and DeeDee, Humeston; Leona HARGER, Leon; Mr. and Mrs. Harold GREEN, Mrs. and Mrs. Charlie GREEN, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley KANE, all of Des Moines; Mark, Christy, Cindy and Max BOLES, Grand River. Calling in the afternoon was Norma BECKER, Grand River.

The day was spent eating, touring the place, reminiscing of old time picnics there. Watermelon and birthday cake for Ruth YOUNG and Leona HARGER concluded the day.
