September, 1953Bramon Family Reunion
Mr. and Mrs. Roy ROSE and son, Larry, and Mrs. ROSE's mother, Mrs. [Luella] BRAMON, motored to Nampa, Idaho, on Friday, September 18, to spend a week with Mrs. ROSE'S two brothers and their families who reside there. Another brother and his bride, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight BRAMON, joined them there; also a sister, Mrs. H. L. [Pearle] FOLAND, of Fairfield (sic, should be Grand River, Dwight resided in Fairfield), Iowa. A nephew who is serving in the Navy had just completed his schooling in Chicago and was fortuante enough to be able to join them before being assigned to his ship.
This family group, numbering 18 in all, enjoyed a picnic in the Nampa City Park and a very beautiful scenic trip going up the canyon into the Bosie National Forest.
Mrs. BRAMON who has spent the past three months with her daughter here returned to her home in Iowa with her son and daughter. She was very happy to have had her five children all together for this never-to-be-forgotten reunion.
It was regretted that Gary ROSE was unable to make the trip with his parents due to the fact that his classes had started at Everett Junior College.
