March 7, l895

On Sunday evening March 3rd, at the beautiful
residence of the bride's
parents in the presence of a few intimate
friends, occurred the marriage
of MR. JAMES C. CAMPBELL, of Eden Township to
MISS CORA C. PARIS of High
Point, Rev. Waller officiating. Promptly at
7 p.m. while the strains of
the pleasant wedding march was being played
by the bride's sister MISS
NANNIE, the bridal couple entered the parlor
accompanied by MR. FRANK
ROSENGRANT as best man and MISS ETTA PARIS as
bridesmaid. After the
ceremony was performed, the bride and groom
were led to the dining room
where an elegant supper was served.

MISS CORA is one of High Point's most
exemplary young ladies and will be
greatly missed by the young people as a
leader of the society. By her
modest and pleasant manner she has won many
friends. MR. CAMPBELL is a
young man of good habits, an industrious
farmer and a successful stock
raiser of Eden. May they live a long, happy
life together is the wish
of many friends. They will be at home to
their many friends after March
l0th on the GAMMON farm 3 miles south of
Leon.
