Merry Christmas will soon be here.

Protracted meeting is still in progress at
Good Hope with Revs. Hanshaw
and Fitzsimmons as leaders.

ANTHONY COX, JOE HAMILTON and W.B. REDMAN
have been having new wells
dug.

MISS ANISE STRONG has commenced the winter
term of school with quite a
number of pupils enrolled.

MISS CARRIE REDMAN has been on the sick list
but is improving.

MISS NELLIE SANGER is teaching school west of
Grand River.

JONATHAN HAMILTON and family were visiting at
JAMES BAKER's last Friday.

REV. HECKATHORN and family have moved on the
J.Y. SNAVELY farm. We
welcome them in our midst.

DR. BONE, of Grand River, went to leon on
business Friday.

JOE HAMILTON's spent Sunday with W.B. REDMAN.

SAM ELLSON's have a child quite sick with
malaria.

HARRY TRAUPEL is the proud possessor of a new
buggy.

MISS LAURA BRADSHAW who was visiting MR.
LANDES', of Leon, returned to
Grand River Tuesday.

MISS RACHEL LUNDERGREEN, of Leon, is visitng
at DeKalb.

DAVIS SPRINGER and family have moved on their
farm north of Decatur.

Wedding cards are out for the wedding of MISS
LILLIAN DEKALB and JAMES
MCKLVEEN Dec. 26th.
