June 5, l902

MRS. ALTHA MCCLARAN visited Wednesday at
MERTON COZAD's.

MISS NELLIE DALE visited last week with
friends at Davis City.

JOHN OSBORN and daughter, BLANCHE had
business at Leon, Friday.

MRS. S.C. COZAD and MRS. J.B. ROBINSON were
Leon visitors Thursday.

There will be a basket meeting held at New
Salem Church Sunday, June
8th.

MRS. MARY DALE and MISS IDA HUBBARD visited
Thursday at A.T. HUBBARD's.

CHARLIE BLEDSOE and MISS ETHEL STOVER called
on MISS NELLIE DALE Sunday
evening.

J.B. ROBINSON and family and JOHN COZAD
called at M.L. DALE's Sunday
aforenoon.

MRS. DAVID MCCUTCHAN and nephew, CLYDE
LEONARD, called on friends in
this vicinity Thursday.

J.S. COZAD of Moulton is visiting his mother
and brother who is very
sick at the present writing.

MISS LUCY SMALLWOOD returned home Wednesday
from Nebraska, where she had
been teaching the past year.

MRS. SPEED HAYES spent last week with her
brother, ALEX NICHOLS, east of
Lineville, whose wife has been very low with
typhoid fever. We have
learned since that MRS. NICHOLS was buried
Sunday at the Gatliff
Cemetery. She will be remembered by friends
in this vicinity as MISS
DELLA VERNON. The family have the sympathy
of the entire community.
