J.W. DELK, of this city, is preparing to establish a glove and mitten
factory, and expects to have his establishment in running order within
two or three weeks. He will start the factory with but a few sewing
machines in use but expects to increase the capacity as the business
growth of the concern justifies. MR. DELK will manufacture cotton
flannel gloves and mittens only and as a part of the product, a special
reversible corn husker's glove will be manufactured. As the business
developes, MR. DELK expects to employ a large number of women and girls.
