Leon, Iowa
Thursday, January 12, 1911

A quiet wedding was solemnized last evening, January 4, 1911, at 7:30 o
clock at the home of Mr. And Mrs. C.P. CONNELL on east Court Avenue, the
contracting parties being their daughter, Miss OLLIE L. CONNELLand JOSEPH W.
KRIDELBAUGH. Only the immediate relatives witnessed the ceremony which was
performed by Rev. Hugh Moore, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, the ring
service being used. The bride was attired in a dainty and becoming gown of
white serge. Following the ceremony a three course luncheon was served.

The bride was born and reared in this city and is one of our most charming
young ladies. She is a graduate of the Chariton High School, being a member
of the class of 1907. She possesses many lovable attributes and has been a
favorite in social circles. The groom is a son of Mr. And Mrs. W.W.
KRIDELBAUGH and has also resided in this city from infancy. He is also a
graduate of our public schools, being a member of the class of 1898. He
also graduated from the law department of the Iowa State College at Iowa
City in 1901. He has since been engaged in the practice of law at this
place. For the last year he has been secretary to Congressman Jamieson, and
has spent most of his time in Washington. He is a young man of sterling
worth and integrity and good business qualifications.

Mr. And Mrs. KRIDELBAUGH were the recipients of a large number of beautiful
and useful gifts. They departed last night on No. 2 for a visit with
relatives in Chicago and will go from there to Washington, D.C., New York
City and other points in the east. They expect to reside in Chariton.
Their innumerable friends will join in extending congratulations and in the
wish that they may have a long and prosperous wedded life with no clouds to
mar their happiness.
