E.D. DORN purchased JEMIMA TULLER's farm of 40 acres located near
Blockley for $l,600. The place is well improved and equipped with good
house and barn.

E.S. SHULTZ, the owner of the PRESTON farm north of town, has moved with
his family into the ED BIGGS residence on Idaho Street.

ADRIAN M. WATSON has purchased the GHORMLEY fruit farm of 40 acres two
miles north of town and will take possession at once.

STEPHEN VARGA has purchased a farm of 98 acres located near Logan Chapel
in Morgan Township. Consideration, $2,500. W.R. MOORE made the sale.

ADRIAN WATSON has sold his l30 acre farm 5 miles southeast of Leon,
formerly owned by JOE BRUNER, to C.R. BARHIZER, of Webster City, for
$4,800. MR. BARHIZER takes possession at once.

E.D. DORN has sold his property consisting of 40 acres of land adjoining
town on the west and northwest to MRS. LUCY RAY for a consideration of
$6,000. This desirable property is well located and improved and sold
at a bargain. The sale was made by STEPHEN VARGA. MR. DORN left
Tuesday morning for South Dakota in which state he owns a section of
land.

MARION MARSHALL has sold his residence in northeast Leon, known as the
WALTER JOHNSON property, to A.E. MULLIN for $550. MR. MARSHALL then
purchased a residence in the west part of town owned by MRS. LUCY RAY,
for $800. The house was built many years ago by W.J. SULLIVAN.

MRS. EMMA CROUSE recently purchased MRS. MARY LYTLE's residence in east
Leon, known as the SOPER property, for $530. MRS. LYTLE bought the ANN
WALLACE property in northeast Leon for $350 and took possession
Tuesday. The deals were made by PEASE & PEASE.

Several hundred acres of land in Morgan and Woodland Townships, known as
the BEAUMONT property, have been exchanged for Texas lands. The deal
was negotiated by JOE LEEPER, C.M. KELLER and A.M. PRYOR.

ROE CASTER has accepted a position as Bookkeeper in the Farmers and
Traders State Bank. MR. CASTER is one of the most popular and capable
young men in the town. He will fill the position with credit to himself
and employers.
