Charles Bluhm and Coral Lenoir (Carpenter) Woodstock

Charles Bluhm Woodstock was born April 21, 1880, in Wisconsin. He was a member of Graceland College's board of trustees from 1915 to 1922. He also taught manual training from 1907 to 1926.

Coral Lenoir (Carpenter) Woodstock, the daughter of Dryden H, & Louisa (Wildermuth) Carpenter, was born on January 6, 1882 in Richland Center, Wisconsin. She was named matron of Marietta Hall, Graceland College, on September 27, 1907.

Charles and Coral were the parents of two sons: Charles M. "Woody" Woodstock, born November 29, 1908, Lamoni, Iowa, served as a S. Major in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War from 1942 to 1964, died August 18, 1989 in Texas; and, Lyle Wildermuth Woodstock, born January 11, Lamoni, Iowa, minister and evangelist, director of the Church School Division in the Department of Religious Education and supervisor of camping for the World Church, Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy during World War II, died March 24, 1994, Independence, Missouri.

Charles died in Independence, Missouri on May 21, 1943. Coral died on April 24, 1963, Independence, Missouri. They were interred in Mound Grove Cemetery, Indpendence, Missouri. Their epitaph reads, "The only truly dead are those who are forgotten."
