BIOGRAPHY - LILLIAN DALE BRACKENY
Graceland University, Lamoni, Iowa

Lillian Dale Brackney was born on February 20, 1875, at Sydney, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Candace (Baker) Brackney. Lillian taught English and Oratory at Graceland for the 1908-09 School Year.

She married first Joseph Thompson (date year unknown), and married second Joseph Spillers who died on May 5, 1923.

Lillian died on June 29, 1954, at Council Bluffs, Iowa.

NOTE: In Lillian's father's obituary dated December 30, 1920, Lillian was listed as "Mrs. Lillian Spillers of Des Moines, Iowa."
