BIOGRAPHY ~ HENRY HERVEY LOUTHAN

Henry Hervey Louthan was born July 16, 1849 in Hancock County, Tenn., and died December 27, 1934 near Grand River, Iowa, son of James H. and Mary (Hatfield) Louthan. He was married in 1878 to Rachel Ernestine Smith, born September 22, 1859, died April 19, 1936 near Grand River, daughter of William and Mary (McConnell) Smith. They became the parents of five children: Herve; William; Mary Esther m. Charlie L. Davis; George; and Martha m. Jessie C. Dinnel.

NOTE: Henry and Rachel were interred at Grand River Cemetery.
