Robert Enlow
Robert Lewis Enlow, 66, Bloomfield, died Aug. 27, 1994, at the VA Hospital in Knoxville.
He was born June 3, 1928 in Davis County to Lewis Delno and Halen Ione Richardson Enlow. He married Alice Eakins Feb. 14, 1980, in Davis County.
he was a resident of Davis County his entire life and had worked at Indian Hills in Ottumwa as a groundskeeper and had worked for John Morrell and Co. for 23 years. He was a member of the Midway Calvary Baptist Church and had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Richard of Milton and Charles of Blakesburg; four daughters, Linda Troxel of Cedar Rapids, Barbara Hird of Pulaski, Judy Chickering of Drakesville and Tracy Lackey of Union Grove, Wisc.; four stepsons, Glen Davison of Omaha, Neb., Brad Davison of Milton, Kelley and Jason Davison, both of Bloomfield; 17 grandchildren; his mother of Bloomfield; a brother, Gene Enlow of Marshalltown, and a sister, Florence Arnold of Marshalltown.
He is preceded in death by his father and a grandson, Shawn Sample.
Funeral services were held Aug. 30, 1994, at the Wagler Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Eakins and Owen Lackey officiating. Burial with graveside military rites by Reed Whisler Post No. 78 of the American Legion was in the IOOF Cemetery.
