BLOOMFIELD - A. B. Comer, 97, formerly of Floris died Tuesday night at Alma's Custodial Home in Ottumwa, where he had been a patient since September. He was born in Davis County Oct. 15, 1865, the son of John and Ella Comer. He had farmed near Floris. Survivors include three sons, Ira and Raymond of Bloomfield, Virble of Des Moines, four daughters, Mrs. Pearl Keeran and Mrs. George Radcliffe, both of Des Moines, Mrs. George Wolfe of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Cleo Farmer of Cedar Rapids; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Noel of Floris. He was married to Eldora Christy, who died seven years ago.

Funeral . . .

A.B. Comer, 97, formerly of Floris, who died Tueday at Alma's Custodial Home in Ottumwa, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the Floris Christian Church. The Rev. Harold Day, pastor of the North Court Baptist Church in Ottumwa, will officiate. Burial will be in Pierce Cemetery east of Floris.
