Ottumwa tri-weekly courier, January 21, 1911 Judy Holsey Locker was born in McLean County Illinois October 8, 1838 and died at the home of her son J. M. Locker northwest of Drakesville, January 13, 1911, aged 72 years 3 months and 5 days. She was married to W. H. Locker in 1852. To this union were born three children, W. T. and Mrs. L. C. Deitch, who preceded her in death and J. M. whose home she passed away. Her husband W. H.
precede her in death eight years ago. Mrs. Locker was a devoted Christian having belonged to the Christian Church for forty years. At the time of her death she was a member of the First Christian Church of Ottumwa. The funeral services were held at the home of her son, and conducted by E. A. Hasting of Bloomfield and interment was in the Breeding cemetery.
