Mrs. Rector, 90, Dies In Ottumwa; Rites Saturday

Mrs. Katie Rector, 90, mother of Elmer Rector of Fairfield, died early today in Ottumwa. She made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Carl Wells.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Wagler Funeral home in Bloomfield. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery there.

Mrs. Rector was born July 28, 1872 in Ohio, the daughter of Jacob and Salome Reisch. Most of her life was spent in Davis county. She was married to Frank Rector in 1897. He preceded her in death n 1935.

Surviving are the following children: Elmer Rector, Fairfield; Lloyd Rector, Bloomfield; Mrs. Harry Slycord and Mrs. Wells, Ottumwa; Harry Rector, Vinton; Mrs. Paul Wallace, Adel; and James Rector, formerly of Fairfield, now of Denver, Colo.

Eight grandchildren also survive. One daughter preceded her in death. She was a member of the Methodist church.
