Virgil Williams Obituary Published in Bloomfield Republican Newspaper 1 Jan 1985

Virgil R. Williams, 70, died Dec 28 at River Hills Care Center in

Ottumwa.

He was born Jan, 31, 1914 at Carman, ILL., to Oscar and Ethel Marie

Jinks Williams. He was a resident of Bloomfield most of his life. He

married Francis Burgher, who died in 1965.

He is survived by three sons, Paul of Fairfield, David and Roy of

Des Moines; a daughter, Julie Williams of California and two grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Bloomfield

Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Van Berkum conducting.

Wagler Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
