Mrs. Mary Angeline Allen
Mrs. Mary Angeline Allen, 62 died at Sunnyslope sanatorium at 3:15 AM today.
She had been a patient there three years. She was the daughter of James and Sarah Allbright and was born at Zanesville, Ohio, March 21, 1875. Nearly all her life Mrs. Allen had lived in Wapello and Davis counties. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church. Surviving are one son, Carl Allen; one daughter in law, Mrs. Mary Allen; one grandson, Clifford Allen Jr, all of Ottumwa; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Hardy of Ottumwa and Mrs. Clara Billhymer of Champaign, Illinois, and three brothers. Will Allbright of Drakesville, John Allbright of Doe River, B. C., Canada, and Jesse Allbright of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Allen; two sons, Roy and Clifford; her parents and two sisters. Short funeral services will be held Wednesday at
1:30 PM in Johnson's funeral Chapel and at 2 PM in the Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church, conducted by the Rev. R. W. Swick. Burial will be made in the Sherman Chapel cemetery.
