Lewis Hart, 77, of 130 S. fellows, died at Sunnyslope sanatorium at 3 AM today. He was the son of John and Sarah Hart and was born near Floris September 25, 1859. He lived in Ottumwa for the last 2 ½ years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Byrdie Harding, Mrs. Jesse Spillman and Mrs. Blanche Swanson of Ottumwa; one sister, Mrs. Mary Jones of Eldon; four brothers, Robert of Floris, William of Eldon, Joseph of Farson and Charles of Ottumwa;
13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alfaretta, two sons and three brothers. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 PM at Johnson's funeral Chapel and at 2 PM at the Floris Christian church conducted by the Rev. A. D. McClure. Burial be made in the (unreadable script).
