Mrs. Estella Slye, 49, wife of Joseph E. Slye, died suddenly at her home, 718 Clinton Ave., Tuesday at 9:50 PM. She was the daughter of George and Eddie Murray and was born near Ipava, Illinois, January 24, 1887. For the last 32 years she had lived here. Surviving are her husband, Joseph E.; three daughters, Mrs. Valletta Elliott and Miss Altabelle Ford of Ottumwa, and Mrs.
Bessie Paris of Bunch; four sons, Bernard, George and Marion Ford of Ottumwa and the Roy R. of Whiting, Indiana; two sisters, Mrs. Alta Higgins of Kokomo, Indiana, and Mrs. Jesse Sunday of Oshkosh, Nebraska and 11 grandchildren. The body will be at the Johnson funeral Chapel pending completion of funeral arrangements.
