Jennie or Vennie James

I am looking for any information on Jennie or Vennie James. I have received information that Jennie may have married a Harry C Shirf, and then possibly Amos McElrice. I did find a little information on Harry showing him a neighbor of Jennies in the 1880 Census but don't see anything on Amos anywhere. Jennie & Vennie are my great great aunts who were living in Washington Twnsp, Dallas Co Iowa in 1880. Anyone with information I would love to hear from you.
