Looking for information on LaFayette Clay Carpenter, son of Andrew Carpenter and Henrietta Gearheart. LaFayette C. Carpenter, b. 20 Jun 1854 in KY; d. 6 Dec 1902 in Desota, IA. He married Maggie Jane Thompson b. abt 1854.

Andrew Carpenter is my gg uncle and I'm trying to find someone who has more information about Andrew's parents, Benjamin Carpenter and Sally (?).
