My father was born in lake city Iowa, Calhoun County. in 1921. His mother is Lelia Peddicord Shepard and john William Shepard. The moved to central Illinois shortly after his birth. My G Grandfather was also John William Shepard he was married to Maryt Alice Lawyer. Still looking for connections in Iowa.
