I am searching for the family of Ida Alice JOHNSON MEYERS, my great-grandmother. I found her living with her parents, John and Martha ___? JOHNSON, in Adel, Dallas Co. IA in the 1860 and 1870 census. Her brothers and sisters were: James D., Rebecca, Martin, Patrick, Frank, Suzett.
I found her brother, James D, JOHNSON, in Union, Dallas Co. IA in the 1880 census.
Her brother, Frank JOHNSON, was found in Mantua, Monroe Co. IA in the 1880 census.
It gave Kentucky as the place of birth of her parents. I need to know the name of the county in KY in order to check the census records there.
Would love to hear from anyone connected with this family.
