The grave marker for Maria Guitar Hammar in Jefferson Cemetery has Charles F. Hammar's name and birth date, but not death date. Charles' Find a Grave memorial has an obituary that says he was buried in West Linn Cemetery, Dallas Co., IA. His brother officiated the funeral in Linden.

My question is, is Charles buried in West Linn Cemetery, Dallas Co., IA? Can anyone check the cemetery records in Dallas Co., IA?

He was living at Linden at his death. It doesn't seem likely that the body would be moved to Jefferson Cemetery, Green Co., IA, even though he bought a cemetery plot and grave marker in Jefferson, Green Co., IA when married to his 2nd wife, Maria Guiter.
