Kate Stover Reiste is my great grandmother. Her great grandmother was Susanna Price Stover whose great grandfather was Johannes Jakob Preisz. Johannes Jakob stood beside Alexander Mack and Peter Becker during the first baptism of the Brethren Church in America. Johannes is said to have been the first Brethren minster for the Indian Creek membership near Georgetown, Pennsylvania. --- Kate Reiste's son Oliver was my grandfather and his daughter (Mary) Edna Reiste Thompson was my mother.
