ROSS, BOICE, LUTHER

Hello,
My GreatGreatGrandmother was Amelia Boyce, b 1830 in Wisconsin; married John Edwin Ross in Illinois in 1848; died 1908 in Dallas Co., Iowa, buried Greenwood Cemetery, Dallas Co. Husband John died in Jefferson, Dallas Co. in 1914 and he is buried at same place. Amelia & John's son George Holland Ross, his wife Luella, etal, are buried there as well. Their son George was a farmer and a six term Dallas Co. Sheriff. His farm in Minburn is still in the family, currently farmed by John Henry Ross, my father's cousin.

I've never been able to find any more information on Amelia or her ancesters. Its possible that she was of American Indian heritage. Any help would certainly be appreciated.
My father's Luther family was from Adel and a cousin of his, Dick Luther, still lives there.

Thanks, Wally Luther
