I'm currently transcribing death records 1921-1933. Should have it posted to the Dallas IAGenWeb site in another month. I located a Lavinia Brown's death record. There are discrepancies from some of the info you provided. This is what they have on her:

Surname: Brown; First Name: Lavina Francis; born 28 Jun 1856, Ohio; died, 24 Oct 1932; mother's maiden name:Pratt; Number: C25-201; Box: D2665

I am going to mention when I post the information that I found numerous mistakes within their transcription. I don't know how to use the file or box numbers, but I'm going to guess that the info is possibly available through the SHS of Iowa. Hope this helps!
