I have the Moran/Tiernan and others in my family history. I am a Tiernan and these people are cousins to a more or lessor extent. Please be specific about what you wish to know and perhaps I can help. For starters, Patrick Tiernan, son of Owen Tiernan and Ellen Fitzpatrick married Bridget Moran in Iowa. Their descendents are still living in the area. Patrick also had around 9 siblings,many of whom came to America and settled in Iowa.

I, personally, need information about William (Billie) Moran. Specifically, who was his first wife, when and how did he come from Ireland, whatever you know. I know that he owned a lot of land in Iowa and there is some indication that he was a banker or something like that. Can you tell me anything about this and about how he became a
banker? Also, can I assume that p\Pat Moran, Bridget Moran, Sarah Moran and William Moran were all siblings. Were there other siblings.
