Deanna,My husbonds GGGrandfather and family lived in Dallas Co, Adel,IA. They are buried there at Panther Creek Cemetary . John and Amanda Davenport they were from back east. Amanda was from Ohio and they were married in Indiana in 1848, and moved to Iowa in the l850's. I cannot identify who the parents or siblins were. In regards to your Harriet I know we have seen her name during our researching for John and Amanda. I will let you know what I have as soon as I can find it. If you have any information on John Davenport, born: KY 28Janl815 please let me know. My GGGrandfather's parents were both from VA acording to the Census records. We think that the area refered to as VA may be what was called KY during the 1892, when it was given statehood.
