Van Meter Artifacts

I have quit a bit of history papers and other material related to early history in these to counties. My great grandfather was Henry Clay Clayton. I'am researching any infomation that may be available. Please contact me if you have information pertaining to him. I'am willing to share anything that I have with other people recarding history in these to counties. I have obtained these documents and related items from estates, auctions, garage sales. This is just a small listing of a few items plat maps and maps related to the developement of Van Meter and a few land purchase contracts. Several pictures related to businesses and historic events, landmarks, aerial photos, school events, year books, womens club, military memoriabilia. Lots of paper items: advertising, womens club meeting hand outs, church records and books, members and banishments. Lots of advertising items: flyers, matchbooks, centennial items for area towns. Some family tree books and photos. Several photos first school buses, businesses and owners , old main street photos, If any of this interests you please contact me.
