Russell, Kizer Families, Redfield?

My grandmother was Mable Catherine Russell, born in Des Moines, Polk Co, Iowa in 1888 to Leander Russell and Emma Jane Way. Apparently Leander died, or else they were divorced, as Emma Jane Way Russell married Frank Kizer in Dallas Co Iowa in January 1898. I have heard that my grandmother at one time lived in Redfield, Dallas Co, Iowa. I have been unable to locate any records of Leander Russell and Emma Jane in Iowa census records, and have just been given the information of the second marriage of Emma. The only other information I know is that my grandmother had a brother named either Jack or John Russell, who was said to own a jewelery store, supposedly in Des Moines Iowa, and she had a brother, Merle Kizer/Kaiser who was listed in her 1954 obituary.
