John Sackett 1864-194?, Van Meter

SACKETT, KEYES, PARTRIDGE

I am looking for any information on John Sackett (b. abt 1864, d. abt 1935-45) of Van Meter, Dallas Co, IA. He may have married twice, once to Effie Keyes and once to another woman we only know as Margarite. He and one or both of the wives had some children: Ray E. Sackett, Pearl Sackett Partridge, Frank Sackett, and Casper V. Sackett. There are conflicting accounts of his occupation, one says he was a drayman and the other say he was a herdsman, we don't know for sure. We are stumped so ANY help would be appreciated.
