Seeking information on Carl Vodenik m. Carrie Estelle Gideon and Fred Vodenik m. Alice Evelyn Gideon from Perry, Dallas, IA. Were Carl and Fred brothers (they married sisters)? Also looking for parents and siblings of the Vodenik families. This surname is SO uncommon in the US that only 10 appear on the SSDI and almost all of them were from Perry. Am also interested in finding out how the Gideon sisters (daughters of Isaiah "Bub" Gideon and Dora Delphina Crow) came to marry men from Dallas Co. (Their father was raised in the Muscatine/Louisa Co area and married in Muscatine). Did the Gideon Family also live in Perry or did the girls move there after marriage?
