Silas Davidson, Van Meter Twp.

I am researching the family of Silas Davidson. He and his first wife, Elizabeth/Phoebe Lewis were my great great parents. His son, John was the father of my grandfather, William Davidson. It seems he moved to Dallas County, Iowa from Montgomery County, Indiana sometime before 1866. His second wife, Elizabeth Stamper died in 1865 and he married Catherine Eshelman June 22, 1866. The 1870 Dallas County, Van Meter Twp. census shows : Silas 75, Catherine 25, Mary 9, Lizzie 5, Mancy 3, Barbra 2. Mary was born in Indiana, the rest in Iowa. Would like to connect with anyone who knows the history of Silas and his family, ie, where they are buried, where they lived, etc.
