I am looking for a death date or an obituary for Susan Hartzell Pierce born about 1840 in Iowa. She married James F. Pierce. On the 1870 census the family was living in Spring Valley Township, Perry, Dallas, Iowa. They had four children, Winfield, Salon, Jeanette (Junie), Martha (Lillian), and on June 2, 1871, Ulysses Grant Pierce (Grant) was born. On the i880 census James Pierce (Pearce)is married to Margaret Winn Van Wye, a widow with two sons, Joseph and Alcoy. The family is living in Hopkins, Nodaway, Missouri. I would like to know when Susan died and where she is buried. Does anyone have any information about this family?
