Thomas "Tom" Warren, 72, passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 at Granger Nursing Center where he had resided since October 2011. He was born April 2, 1939 in Des Moines, Iowa to Michael J. and Anna (Murphy) Warren.
Tom attended school and graduated from Johnston High School 1957. He was a computer programmer for Preferred Risk Ins., Des Moines, and Dept of Ag in Kansas, MO, before returning to Waukee to become caregiver to his parents. Tom enjoyed fishing and was an avid Hawkeye fan.
Tom is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Phil) Creese, Woodward, IA, Kellie Brooks of CA; brothers, Fred (Sheri) Naples, FL, John (Janice), Boone, IA, Dan (Marlene), Waukee, IA and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, and brother, Michael Jr. Tom's wishes were to be cremated and no services.
