Carolyn Margaret Kane, 96, went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2012. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 2 at the Booneville United Methodist Church with burial at the Booneville Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time at the church. McCalley Funeral Home in Adel is handling the arrangements.

Carolyn worked at the post office but her main priority was to be a housewife. She was a servant to her church and was a member of the U.M.W. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, reading, animals, and most of all taking care of her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Rex (Jamie); daughter, Sally (Bob) Katztey; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Kane; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle.
