June 2013Zola A. Williams, 96, of Kansas City, MO, passed away June 23, 2013. Her cremated remains will be interred at a later date in Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, IA.
Zola was born January 4, 1917 in Dexter, IA. She was a 1936 graduate of Dexter High School. On April 21, 1940, she married Robert C. Williams. They resided in Des Moines, IA from 1940-1995, and Bela Vista, AR from 1995-2007 before moving to Kansas City.
Zola was a devoted wife and mother. She was a 25 year member of Auburn Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
She was also a member of Dexter Methodist and Highland Park Christian Churches.
Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband of 71 years, Robert; three brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her son, Lonnie Williams and companion, Connie Brenton, of Kanasas City, MO.
