Olga Marie Jensen, daughter of Nels and Sina Jensen, was born in Skanderborg, Denmark, July 31, 1883, and departed this life Nov. 11, 1963 at the age of 80 years, three months, and twelve days.

When she was seven years old she came to this country with her parents, her two brothers, and three sisters. They settled in Atlantic, Iowa, where she attended public school.

She was united in marriage to George Wells on Nov. 25, 1903, at Exira, Ia. To this union were born seven children: four boys, Gerald, Russell, and Mervin, all of Dexter, and Glenn of Tyler, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Lenocker of Dexter, Mrs. Doris Keating of Peru, and Mrs. Doothy Lanning, deceased. There are fourteen grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren.

In the year 1909 Olga and her husband and children emigrated to Cudsworth, Saskatchewan, Canada, where they resided for five years. In 1915 the family returned to Iowa, making their home near Winterset. In 1919 they moved to the Dexter community, where she resided until March 1963. From this time until her death she was a patient at the Salem Invalid Home at Elk Horn, Iowa.

Besides her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren she is survived by two brothers, Jens Jensen of Elk Horn, and Eskild Jensen of Atlantic.

When an infant she was baptized in the Danish Lutheran Church in Skanderborg, Denmark. After coming to Dexter she untied with the Presbyterian Church.
