Death Claims Dexter Mother at Hospital

Mrs. George Johnson Passed Away Monday After Illness of Several Weeks

This community was grieved when news came Monday morning of the death of Mrs. George Johnson at the Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.

For many years the deceased had not been in the best of health and for weeks her family had been concerned about her failing health.

Following a major operation last Saturday every aid that skill or love knew was given but no avail and her life quietly slipped away.

The funeral services will be held at the M.E. church Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock conducted by the Rev. J. H. Freedline. Interment will be in the Dexter cemetery.

The obituary will be published next week.
