The remains of Mrs. Sarah Jane Christie and daughter Margaret Christie, who were buried here in the Dexter cemetery in 1901 and 1882 respectively, were disinterred the first of the week and taken to Omaha where thy will rest in the Graceland cemetery. It was the desire of the son and brother, H. M. Christie that this should be done as he is a resident of Omaha and desired them closer to him.

The Christie family lived between here and Stuart in the early eighties, were members of the Presbyterian church and had many friends here, going from here to a farm south of Dexter.
