DEXTER-A funeral for Ruby Emma Neal, 93, of Dexter, was held Dec. 31, 1991 at the First Presbyterian Church here. Mrs. Neal died of a heart ailment on Dec. 28 at the Stuart Community Care Center. Burial was at Dexter Cemetery here.

The daughter of George and Anna Blohm, she was born at Dexter on Oct. 1, 1898. She married Kenneth Neal on Nov. 29, 1916. She was a graduate of Dexter High School and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Dexter and of the Women’s Association.

Mrs. Neal was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband, by seven brothers and three sisters, by two sons, Warren and Scotty, by two grandsons and by one great-grandson.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty Wells, Nadine Shepherd and Marian Beaman, all of Dexter; 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
