David Haynes, 87, father of W. J. Haynes of this city, died last week at his home in Dexter following an illness of several weeks.
Funeral services were conducted Friday in the funeral home at Dexter with interment made in the Dexter cemetery.
In addition to W. J. Haynes, now employed in Omaha, Mr. Haynes is survived by two sons, George and Milton, both of Dexter. Mrs. W. J. Haynes went to Dexter immediately following the death remaining for the rites while Mr. Haynes came from Omaha.
