W. H. Peer and family returned home Sunday, their visit being cut short on account of the death of Mr. Peer’s mother, who died at her home in Omaha Saturday. Funeral was held at Dexter, Iowa, and interment made in the Dexter Cemetery Tuesday. Members of the family residing in Cooper attended the last sad rites. Mr. Peer has the deepest and sincerest sympathy of all in the loss of the best friend man ever had, his mother.
