Tracie departed this life July 11, 1987 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 18 days.

She was born September 23, 1920, in Woodbine, Iowa, the daughter of Raymond and Ruby (Butcher) Torrance.

Mrs. Gross had lived in Cherokee Village since 1983. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Gross. Survivors include her husband, John, one son Larry Gross of Austin, Texas, one sister Irene Smith of Cherokee Village, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, July 15, 1987 at the Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, Iowa.
