Lucille Brown, 84, of Dexter died of complications of a stroke Wednesday at Des Moines General Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Ruppert Funeral Home in Stuart. Burial will be at Dexter Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown was born in Thayer and had lived in Dexter most of her life where she was a homemaker and a member of the Dexter Presbyterian Church and Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Dan of Dexter and Doug of Stuart; a daughter, Mary Brown of Stuart; two stepsons, Darvin Brown and Roy Brown, both of Indianola; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
