Mary Ann Wilson, daughter of Edward and Rilla Williams, was born February 11, 1902 in Wabash County, Illinois and passed away May 1, 1987 at Craft Care Center at Panora, Iowa.

Mary attended Gillespi School in Madison County and was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Pitzer.

On September 6, 1920 she married Johnnie Wilson at Early Chapel Church near Earlham. They farmed in Adair and Dallas County, moving to Dexter in October 1974. She attended the Presbyterian Church in Dexter and transferred her membership there. Mary was a member of the Progressive Guild, also Golden Agers and Iris Garden Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers. Survivors include her husband Johnnie, of Care Center South in Winterset, one son Floyd of Guthrie Center; four daughters, Marjorie Faith, Woodburn, Iowa; Maxine Casner, Sault Ste Marie, Michigan; Marilyn Oliver, Des Moines; and Lois Reedy of Stuart; one brother, John Williams of Stuart; one sister, Golda Fleming of Menlo; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were conducted May 5, 1987 at the Presbyterian Church, Dexter, Iowa with the Rev. Al Polito jr. officiating. Larry Weigel provided organ music and Maxine Casner was soloist. Pallbearers were Clifford Faith, Larry Lienemann, Dennis Oliver, Gary Faith, Randy Lienemann and James Ledbetter. Honorary pallbearers were Kevin Wilson, Chris Lienemann and Bruce Oliver. Interment was in Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, Iowa.
