Dexter—A funeral for Floyd L. Lister, 66, of Dexter was held June 10, 1988 at the United Methodist Church here. Mr. Lister died of a heart ailment on June 7 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center. Burial was in the Dexter Cemetery.

He was born at Dale City on Oct. 30, 1921. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1940 to 1945, surviving the Pearl Harbor attack, he had lived in Dexter since 1965, moving there from Des Moines. He was a retired city policeman and a member of Dexter American Legion Post No. 419.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Donald.

Survivors include his wife, Esther; five sons, Ronald, Dennis and David, all of Dexter, and Charles and Michael, both of Earlham; and five grandchildren.
